Kloe explains her work:
So these are my new paintings. I’m totally into knitting for stress management, and lots of women knit here in Turkey. I began to paint my current yarn projects. All these paintings are done in acrylic on Arches watercolor paper, then mounted on board, 58 cm by 58 cm.
Each knitting painting also contains a small collage that creates a type of tear in the “fabric,” or a scar. I’m into scars, you know, “the body is more beautiful with scars” and all that.
